Cloud RO Water Filter Installation on Granite Countertops: Step-by-StepInstalling a Cloud Water Filters reverse osmosis (RO) system on a granite countertop requires precision and the right tools. Here’s how we handle it professionally:
1. Drilling the Granite CountertopWe mark the hole location for the faucet (typically 7/16"–1/2").
A diamond drill bit is used with constant water cooling.
We drill slowly to avoid cracks, chips, or surface damage.
2. Faucet InstallationWe install the faucet base with a rubber gasket or trim plate.
The faucet is tightened securely from underneath the countertop.
3. Filter and Tank MountingThe filtration system is mounted to the cabinet wall for easy access.
All tubing is connected following the manufacturer’s diagram.
The RO tank is placed to allow for proper ventilation and servicing.
4. Water Line & Drain ConnectionsA feed adapter is installed on the cold-water line under the sink.
The drain saddle is attached to the sink’s drain pipe or P-trap.
5. Final System CheckAll fittings and connections are tested for leaks.
System is flushed and pressurized per manufacturer instructions.
